Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge and Festival of the Cranes Informational Talk - Nov. 7 Refuge Supervisory Park Ranger Shawn Gillette and Friends of the Bosque del Apache Festival Coordinator Robyn Harrison will provide an introduction to the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge and the 22nd annual Festival of the Cranes. The program will provide an overview of the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, its history and purpose, and a glimpse into events and activities planned for the Festival of the Cranes, which will take place November 17th through the 22nd.

Using visual aids, guitar playing, and singing, Patrick Cox teaches us about Las Posadas, the traditional Hispanic festival that reenacts Joseph's search for a room at the inn. Mr. Cox discusses the roots of the festival, the food, activities, and music. Fun and educational for adults and children.
