The Schola Cantorum of Santa Fe, a mixed choir of ten to twelve singers, will perform in a glorious holiday concert. The repertoire for the evening will be predominantly sacred music, but will include a few secular tunes as well. Selections of Gregorian chant, medieval, Renaissance, and contemporary compositions, including the Alabados (religious songs) of New Mexico will be sung. Free tickets will be available at the Adult Information Desk beginning November 20.

Winterfest Parade and Luminaria Tour - Dec. 12
Enjoy two family friendly events on one day! A vast array of lights will adorn dozens of floats and vehicles at this year’s Winterfest Parade. Conclude your evening by enjoying the city’s annual Luminaria Tour at Haynes Park.

The parade will begin at 5:15 pm and will start at the intersection of Golf Course Road and Southern Boulevard. The parade route will travel east where it will end near the intersection of Southern Boulevard and NM 528/Pat D’Arco Highway.

At the conclusion of the parade, spectators are encouraged to visit Haynes Park for the annual Luminaria Tour. More than 12,000 luminarias will be arranged along several different walking paths. This event starts at 5:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm Haynes Park is located at 2006 Grande Boulevard. (across from Intel on NM 528/Pat D’Arco Highway).

The Winterfest Parade is sponsored by the Joiner Family and the city’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department.
