This page contains information on lane restrictions that may be present during road construction in the City of Rio Rancho. Information will be updated on this page as it becomes available. Motorists traveling within construction zones are urged to drive with caution and observe traffic control devices. Remember to always wear your seat belt and drive the speed limit.

  • Neighborhood Streets Improvement ProjectWork for the Neighborhood Streets Improvement Project will be typically from 7:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, and weekends and evening hours as needed. Below is a breakdown of what Districts will have work done on which months. If you would like to see the specific roads per District please click here.
    • District 1 (July 2017 - August 2017)
    • District 2 (June 2017 - July 2017)
    • District 3 (Complete)
    • District 4 (August 2017 - September 2017)
    • District 5 (September 2017)
    • District 6 (October 2017)
  • Rivers Edge Water Line Replacement: Work for the Rivers Edge Water Service Line Replacement Project will be typically from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Construction is from May 2017 - September 2017. Please see the below list for roadways being serviced:  
    • Water Shut-off Notification: A water shut-off has been scheduled in order to connect the newly installed water line on Silver Creek Drive to the existing main line on Riverside Drive. This water shut-off will occur Tuesday night on 6/20/17 between the hours of 11:00 pm to 4:00 am. The areas affected by this shut-off are the residents on the streets as followed: Silver Creek Drive, Butte Way, Gila River Road, and Rivers Edge Drive
    • Riverside Drive (June 20, 2017 - June 21, 2017)
  • Water Service Line Replacement: Work for the Water Service Line Replacement Project will be typically from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Construction is from April 2017 - September 2017. Please see the below list for roadways being serviced:
